Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. localStorage is a similar mechanism that stores small pieces of data in your browser without sending them to the server on every request.

2.1 Strictly necessary

• No login or session cookies are set, because auttendo.com does not have a login.
• Forms (for example a redesign request) submit directly to our email provider. No persistent cookies are used to track the submission.

2.2 localStorage

• We use one localStorage key, "auttendo-locale-redirect", to remember whether we have already detected your browser language and offered the matching version of the site. This avoids redirecting you to /en/ on every single visit. The value contains no personal information.

2.3 Analytics

• We use visitors.now, a privacy-friendly analytics provider. It does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal identifiers, and does not track you across other websites.

2.4 No advertising or social cookies

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No social-media tracking pixels.
• No cross-site tracking technologies.

For websites we build and host for customers, cookie usage depends on the customer. We aim for the minimum a site actually needs to function, plus any analytics the customer has opted into. The customer is the data controller for the visitors of their site and is responsible for any cookie banner shown on their own site.

Most browsers let you view, delete or block cookies through their settings. You can usually clear localStorage in the same place as cookies (browser settings, then "site data" or "storage"). Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect basic site functionality. Because auttendo.com sets only the one localStorage key described in Section 2.2, blocking it will simply mean we may ask you about your preferred language on every visit.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
