Terms of Service

• "Customer" means a business or individual that purchases a website from Auttendo.
• "Customer Content" means anything you provide to us for use on your site, including photos, texts, opening hours, menus, prices, logos, brand assets and any other materials.
• "Site" means the website that Auttendo builds, hosts and maintains for the Customer.
• "Change" means a request submitted by the Customer (typically via WhatsApp) to update the Site.
• "AI" means the third-party large-language-model service that Auttendo uses to execute Changes.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. You must provide accurate information, keep your contact and billing details up to date, and report any unauthorised use of your account to us.

Auttendo provides a website-as-a-service for business owners, consisting of:

• A complete redesign and build of your Site, done by senior designers and accelerated by AI.
• Hosting, domain management and SSL.
• Editing of your Site through WhatsApp, executed by AI with human review where appropriate.
• Advice on what works for your business, when you ask.

We do not build custom software, marketplaces, dashboards, login systems or e-commerce checkouts. If you need those, there are better tools, and we will tell you so.

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of all Customer Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, display, adapt and process Customer Content as needed to provide the Service.

4.2 Your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to share each piece of Customer Content with us (for example, you own the photos, or you have permission from the photographer). You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all Customer Content.

4.3 Prohibited content

You may not provide Customer Content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, contains malware, is misleading, or is otherwise harmful. If we become aware of prohibited content, we may remove it without notice.

Once your Site is live, you can request Changes by sending us a WhatsApp message. Changes usually go live within a few minutes, but we do not guarantee a fixed turnaround (see Section 8).

5.1 Credit plans

Changes via WhatsApp are measured in credits. Each Change costs a number of credits depending on the size of the work; a simple change typically costs around one credit, larger requests more. Your subscription adds a monthly amount of credits to your account (currently 15 with hosting, 350 on Starter, 900 on Pro and 1,700 on Scale). The plan that applies to you is the one shown on your active subscription and on auttendo.com/prijzen. One subscription applies per account; the credit balance is shared across all Sites under that account.

5.2 Monthly credits, top-ups and running out

Monthly subscription credits reset at the start of each billing month and unused monthly credits do not roll over. Separately purchased top-up credits remain valid and only expire after 18 months without any edit activity on the account. When your balance runs out, further Changes via WhatsApp are paused until the start of the next month, until you upgrade, or until you purchase a top-up at the then-current credit rate. We will message you when you are close to your limit.

5.3 Larger work

For larger additions, such as a whole new page, a new integration with a third-party tool, or a substantial redesign of an existing section, we will discuss scope and timing with you before starting.

If a Change is not what you intended, send another WhatsApp message and we will correct it. A correction of a Change we made does not cost additional credits.

You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or bypass any security or rate-limiting controls.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to access data of other customers.
• Use the Service to host content depicting minors in a sexual context, content inciting violence, or any content that violates Dutch or EU law.
• Resell, sublicense or repackage the Service to third parties without our written consent.

7.1 Pricing

Pricing is shown on auttendo.com/prijzen and is the leading reference. We offer two ways to start. All amounts are in euros, excluding VAT, processed by Stripe.

• Upfront: a one-time setup fee of €849 to build your Site, plus €29 per month for hosting.
• Financed: €99,75 per month for the first 12 months (which covers the build), then €29 per month for hosting from month 13 onwards.

Optional add-ons (chosen separately on top of the above): Chat €29/month, Analytics €9/month, and Changes via WhatsApp through a credit plan: Starter (350 credits, €19/month), Pro (900 credits, €49/month) or Scale (1,700 credits, €89/month). Separate top-up credits are available at €0.05 per credit. Custom per-deal pricing is possible by separate written agreement.

7.2 Upfront setup fee

If you choose the upfront offer, the €849 setup fee is due before we start the build. It covers the complete design and build of your Site, including three revision rounds, your domain setup, hosting and SSL setup, and bringing the Site live within one week of design approval.

7.3 Financed offer (12-month commitment)

If you choose the financed offer, you commit to 12 monthly payments of €99,75. This is a fixed commitment: you may not cancel during these 12 months. After month 12, the subscription continues automatically at €29 per month for hosting, and can be cancelled at any time as described in Section 11.

7.4 Monthly fee and add-ons

Monthly fees are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. We accept the payment methods Stripe enables for your account (card and SEPA direct debit in the Netherlands). The €29/month hosting fee covers hosting, beheer (management), security updates and basic support. Changes via WhatsApp are billed separately through the credit plan you have chosen, as described in Section 5.

7.5 Late payment

If a payment is more than 14 days overdue we may, after sending a reminder, suspend the monthly Service until payment is received. We will not delete your Site during a suspension period of up to 60 days.

7.6 Price changes

We may change the monthly fee with at least 30 days notice. Continued use after the change date is acceptance. If you do not agree, you may cancel as described in Section 11. During the 12-month financed period we will not change the €99,75 monthly amount.

Changes are executed by an autonomous third-party AI system (currently Anthropic Claude) acting on our instructions, with a human stepping in where needed. You acknowledge that:

• AI may make mistakes. Updates may take longer than the usual few minutes, may need to be redone, or in rare cases may temporarily fail to go live. When that happens a human steps in to repair it. Such intermediate states are not a breach of these Terms.
• We do not guarantee a fixed turnaround time for any individual Change. The figures shown in our marketing are typical, not contractual.
• If a Change is not what you wanted, send another WhatsApp message. We will correct it, and corrections of our own mistakes do not cost credits (see Section 5).
• Customer Content you send via WhatsApp for the purpose of executing a Change is shared with our AI sub-processor for that purpose. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We aim for high availability of the hosted Site but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, security updates and third-party service incidents may cause temporary unavailability. Support is provided via WhatsApp and email at hi@auttendo.com.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data or business interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Dutch law.

11.1 Cancelling the monthly hosting and add-ons

You may cancel the €29/month hosting and any add-ons (Chat, Analytics, WhatsApp bundles) at any time, in your dashboard, via WhatsApp or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly billing period. There are no partial refunds for the running month.

11.2 Cancelling during the 12-month financed period

If you chose the financed offer (Section 7.3), the 12 monthly payments of €99,75 are a fixed commitment and cannot be cancelled during that period. After month 12 the cancellation rule in 11.1 applies.

11.3 By us

We may suspend or terminate the Service if you materially breach these Terms, if your payment is significantly overdue (see Section 7.5), if continued provision creates a legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the Service entirely (with reasonable advance notice).

11.4 Your domain

We do not hold your domain. You point your existing domain at our hosting, and it stays in your name and your registrar account throughout the relationship.

11.5 Your Site code: no lock-in

You can log in to your dashboard at any time, before, during or after the relationship, and export the full source code of your Site. There is no lock-in: the code is yours to take, host elsewhere, or hand to another developer.

After your final billing period we deactivate hosting and delete the operational copy of your Site in line with our Privacy Policy retention schedule. Exporting your code before that date is your responsibility.

We own all rights in the Auttendo brand, the auttendo.com website, the internal tooling we use to build and edit Sites, and any underlying generic patterns or libraries we develop and re-use across Sites.

Once your Site is live and you have paid in full (the upfront setup fee under Section 7.2, or the full 12 financed months under Section 7.3), the source code, design and content of your Site are yours. You may export it from your dashboard at any time and use it freely, including hosting it elsewhere. This does not transfer rights in (a) third-party fonts, photos or libraries embedded in your Site, which remain governed by their own licences, or (b) the generic patterns and tooling described above.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use that feedback to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent court in the district of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. EU consumers retain the mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence and may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give at least 30 days notice by email or by posting a notice on auttendo.com. Continued use of the Service after the change date is acceptance.
